Sheridan saw Angela Cassidy join as Head of Faculty & Business Development. She will be coming on board to help Sheridan develop on the “stellar work” that has been done over previous years by supporting our clients and faculty as the business continues to grow.
Angela first met Caroline Sheridan when she was Head of Faculty at Barclays, almost 7 years ago now. Sheridan Resolutions delivered a number of high-profile developmental programmes as well as being her go-to team to source quality coaches for the top 2500 leaders across the group.
To understand what Angela will be doing at Sheridan and to get to know her better, we asked her a few questions.
Why did you decide to work for Sheridan Resolutions?
For many years I have worked within the financial sector, JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank, Barclays and LSEG. I first met Caroline Sheridan when I was Head of Faculty at Barclays, almost 7 years ago now. Sheridan Resolutions delivery a number of high-profile developmental programmes as well as being my go-to team to source quality coaches for the top 2500 leaders across the group. My relationship continued with Caroline, and her team, when I moved to LSEG and again I partnered with them to deliver the MD 360 programme. For many years I have admired how Sheridan Resolutions partner with their clients, are true to their company values and without doubt deliver beyond expectations. I was delighted when Caroline approached me to lead their Faculty, it was an easy decision to make and here I am.
What do you like most about the company?
It’s my second week, and I’m overwhelmed by the sense of “team”, the ambition and growth of the business, the digitalisation plans and the immense talent across our global Faculty.
What will you be doing?
Having sat on the other side of the table, I hope that I bring a sense of what the client needs, both in terms of partnership and thought leadership. Leadership and talent professionals are stretched in many directions, hence the in-depth and expert knowledge that our faculty can share with our clients is immense. I’m really excited to partner with the ‘old me’, share my mistakes and successes to help fellow professionals and businesses flourish.
I am an immensely proud Mum of two, my son, Jack, now working in Shanghai, and my daughter, Evie, about to head to university in Manchester. I’m also a very proud wife to my fire fighter husband, and step mum to his two boys. Personally, I have been touched by cancer, and during this time I trained as a counsellor which helps me maintain perspective and purpose, while hopefully helping others.
I very much look forward to getting to know you all.
